Bucket List.

What is on your bucket list for life in general and future rides?

2014 Indian Chief, KLR 650, a Honda or Kymco scooter..maybe a burgman, a new car and a winning lottery ticket.

For my son to grow up Healthy and Happy.  Smiley

Ride from Rome to Nordkapp on the Savage, given the zero weather protection (no fairing) on the Savage this will have to be a summer ride.

https://maps.google.it/maps?saddr=Via+Fossombrone,+Roma,&daddr=Oslo,+Norvegia+to
:Trondheim,+Norvegia+to:Polarsirkelen,+Norvegia+to:Nordkapp,+Norvegia&hl=it&sll=

JRTFp4AzN8yVm7w&oq=Trondheim,+No&doflg=ptm&mra=ls&t=m&z=4

(if you want to see the route, please copy the whole thing and paste in a new tab/window, the url string is too long to work)

The Polar Circle is just a little north of Mo-i-Rana.

Up through Germany to Denmark, Olso, along the Norwegian fjords...
How I ride down is very much up to the spur of the moment... I might even just leave her in neutral and coast downhill all the way home !!!

5600 miles plus "odds'n'ends", a true motorcyclists walkabout (= ritual long-ride initiation)

The Savage ought to be able to handle it, easty, carefree cruising at 50-55mph, whether my joints can handle it is another matter...

I never really ever thought about a bucket list untill last year. At 54 I assumed I had plenty of time to do what ever I wanted and that I'd have all my debts settled before I reached retirement age. Well it don't work out that way soo... ya'll got me thinking about maybe, just maybe doing a few things I'd like to do.
One of them is to meet a few people I type at on internet forums.... been doing that locally and find that some are who they say they are and some are not... not a surprise really but its nice to meet everyone anyway. Next is to meet folks from different regions (states) that I type at on the internet.... hence the trip to the dragon next month (I tried that with the ninja 300 crowd but no one could commit during school season).
Going to sell a few things I've purchased over the years and don't really "need" and possibly fly to europe side of the world (was in the pacific side while in the service, seen all I wanted to there).
Maybe go to Hawaii, the wife's mom used to go there every year (military hotels) so she would like to go.
Do a long ride with the wife and see a few things in the states neither of us have seen. We took a 3,000mile trip two years ago and did the mid to east side of the states, we plan to do a western trip for our 30th wedding anniversary to see the dakota's, devil's tower, yosemite, salt lake, grand canyon, roswell nm(alien town), the flats of texas and oklahoma.
Well, and maybe win a lottery.... Roll Eyes
Who knows, I might get a few of them done.

I would like to visit my grandfather's birthplace- a small island just north of Sicily called Lipari. There are 52 living relatives there, so I could eat for free for 52 days. Wink

@Old-Rider definitely go to Hawaii if you have any interest in going, it is a beautiful place for sure. I liked Maui the best overall, Haleakala National park is awesome, Lahaina is a cool town. Oahu was nice to visit Pearl Harbor and the North Shore is beautiful, but Honolulu is just another built up city. And Kauai is really incredible if you love pure natural beauty and the outdoors.

I have a few serious ones and a few not so serious and thankfully I have gotten to cross some off..........I think that is the important thing, don't wait to do the things you want to do, slowly chip away at each goal till you get them mostly completed and then put some more on the list Smiley
