Persistence! started by disassembling the carb, make sure all passages are clear, set float level, make sure battery is fully charged [runs crappy on low voltage] new spark plug, removed white spacer, replaced with washer half as thick, make sure boot between carb and airbox is installed, stock jetting 47.5 and 152, air screw is at 2 turns out. All I can say is only make one change at a time, and verify results before changing anything else, I had the carb on and off the bike at least a dozen times over the span of a week, don't give up and DO use this forum for info, everything you need to know about the Savage is here. Before taking on this project I had never laid hands on a Savage before, everything I know now is from here, Thanks Guys!
