Reply #15 - 05/04/13 at 06:09:34 I have 2 "trickle" chargers I use and sometimes, although rare, if I don't have the clamps on the battery just right, it will abort and the battery won't get charged all the way but generally, I have no problems.

The old one didn't fully charge until I had bought the new one. Figures, I think it will lose it's charge fast anyway.

Since you've got a maintenance-free battery now that works well, I'd drop that older battery off somewhere for recycling. Once a battery begins to act flaky, it's usually unreliable and pretty much "done."
