I'm a mechanically inclined person when it comes to cars and trucks but I am a complete noob when it comes to motorcycles. I have two hoses on the right side of my savage that run to nowhere. I have a hard time believing that they are both vacuum or vents. but wanted to be sure. I just got the bike back together after painting it and still haven't found where they go.

apache snow-FSO Serious Thumper Offline Posts: 509 Gender:	Re: Unknown Reply #6 - 04/24/13 at 13:55:55 On the left side there is one that goes from the carb to the petcock. The other one is a vent line and goes into the frame under the gas tank. You can easily tell them apart.

Too bad Cavi isnt a barber. A guy would come outta there with twice as much hair as when he went in, after he split every hair on his head..
Im sure our noob really needed the definition of Nowhere..
Ill even go so far as to say that our noob & every other member reads "Nowhere" & understands it to mean, "Not connected to a nipple on some air/fuel/or engine component"..
