What seems to be the preferred grade of gas for the Savage?  I have filled up a total of three times since I registered my bike last week, each time switching grades of gas (regular, super, and mid grade).  is there any preferred gas brand and grade that anyone uses?  I live in the northern part of upstate NY, we have Mobil, Shell, Sunoco And Irving stations. input is appreciated Smiley

Your motorcycle will run slightly cooler and have slightly less power with the super grade gasoline.

And of course, you have dyno runs in support of that statement?

I know the search doesn't work for everyone but you seriously couldn't locate the last octane-fight thread?? They come around every month or so!! And read the stickies at the top of the forum categories!!

Asking for opinions on oil, gas, tire pressure, chrome polish, dealerships, etc., I have learned, can only end in fire!!  Grin Grin Grin

Do you really need to remind us of this yet again?  My opinion is that your opinion of bill's opinions is a valid opinion.

I am hoping that Bill will get the hint.....and stop posting opinions in the RSD, and only post facts.
