OMG!!!!! That is fricken AWESOME!!! Kinda like a cross between a Street Tracker and a Sportster 42!!! Major DROOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! Cool

Where's this one from? EDIT: OK, just read the article ... from a Custom Builder in Jakarta, Indonesia ... like Bratstyle in Japan, they do some wicked creative Customs overseas!
Though, it's not an S40 if if the original donor Bike is a 1988 LS650, it's a Savage ...

I wonder how those tires would ride? They look like old school car tires or something.  I would like to see it in action. A little too edgy for me.

I have a reprint of a 1948 Firestone ad for those tires... Most of my antique big twins ran them. You could buy them labeled Firestone, Acme and Carlisle in 5.00-16, 130/90-16 and 130/90-17 for your Harley or your Goldwing, CB750, CB900, etc.

They look cool. They ride okay as a rear tire on dry pavement with absolutely no tar snakes or rain grooves. They are lousy as front tires.

As for the build in question... engine looks good, front fork looks great with the sliders blacked out (but the should have de-tabbed them first), tank isn't very practical unless he's running 2 petcocks into a t fitting or has a 1960s Honda or any era HD Big Twin type crossover line, handlebar needs to be rotated forward a few degrees, flat track type seat really needs a rear kick up to keep the rider from sliding back too far... Hope those shocks are welded up into struts, or the first good bump is going to rip off the rear fender...

Seems more a static display art piece than a functional motorcycle.

Naaaw!  You just tuck that chrome tail light between your cheeks and squeeze whenever you need to stay in the saddle!
