Yours looks a lot nicer than mine...  Embarrassed...

Nice work... Wink...
I like the holes... makes it look fast...  Grin...

Anxious to see this baby on the road... Smiley...

I put the holes in as it felt kind of heavy to support a thin flimsy aluminum license plate.

And....I am anxious to see this on the road as well.  Riding season is here!

Make sure you hook up a license plate light. No license plate light will get you a ticket pretty quick around here.

Thanks Apache.....I am going to try the LED lights that are built into the bolts that mount the plate.

Use four of them, the light output is pathetic. 2 at the top, 2 at the bottom, angled to cover the entire plate. Check the chrome section at your local truck stop, the ones for tractor trailer use are a mite larger, a LOT brighter, and more vibration resistant than the tiny little motorcycle ones. Love's, Pilot, Flying J and Petro ALL carry them in the Memphis TN, West Memphis AR, Desosto County MS metroplex.

After I bought those screw type lights......I was a bit dissapointed for a couple of reasons.  When mounted as fastening screws for the plate they are too low to light up the plate well.  The light kind of skips across the plate and makes it look like that thing where you hold the flashlight under your chin and make a scary face!  THe other thing is you have to rewire the lights every time you change a plate.....and you cannot use snap together connectors as they won't pass through the tiny 6mm bolt (10mm hex).  I ultimately solved both problems by mounting the lights on tabs that don't pass through the plate mounting holes, and I elevated the lights by using some rubber tubing as a spacer to get the lights higher than the plate.
