Yeh... I'd love to watch it, too...
The problem is, in my opinion, that the new script writers have no idea what it was like "back in the days" and will modify the story to adapt modern ideas etc.
Just like they did with the original Django (1966) and the remake, Django Unchained (2012).
The same applies for other remakes; sometimes they would change the title a little (or a lot) for royalty issues, but you know what I mean...
See "La Cage aux Folles" 1973 play French Play, then 1978 Italian Film, last 1996 Hollywood remake.
ALLL THREE exceptionally well made !

Then there's the not so good ones...
That says it all, never ever try to redo what was already done my a master...
