Thanks for the advice (hope I never need to use it). So any 4 wheeler driver that takes my bike out needs to have (at a minumn) a medical check-up bill to pay ! Wink

Having eye contact with the people ya meet on the road is allways a good thing ... well thats hard to do if the other person is dialing a phone or looking for something in such case they probelly need an ASS WOOPING . Angry

Mr. Nice Guy is not always the right thing to do ya know ! Huh

I wasn't there and I'm just saying doing a left turn in front of somebody is not a nice to do .... Undecided

Tie,... I did the same thing... I refused an ambulance, because I thought I was okay under all the adrenalin...
Next day, was murder...
I had to fight with the insurance because I didn't go right away...

Lesson to others... Take your adrenalin response into account... If you hurt at all, it will increase tenfold in a few hours...

Glad you're ok. It's still not too late to call the police to make some sort of report. Your insurance company may ask/require you to do that.

Take care of yourself. A concussion is not to be taken lightly, take it from me, I've been dealing with lingering issues from that for 3 months. Get plenty of rest & don't over do it. Again, we're glad you're here with us

Very glad to hear that for all intensive purposes you are OK. As they say there are two types of bikers, those that have been in an accident and those who will. It sounds like you did the right thing as far as avoidance and minimalizing a potetially dire crash.

Take care of yourself and follow up with the insurance, find out what ever you can do to help them help you Wink

When Aida and I were hit, I was totally focused on her. Made sure she was stable. Helped package her in the ambulance. Made the police reports, and got the bikes towed home. (Not a yard! Took cash only.) Then go to the hospital to see her. Noticed my arm hurting.

It was broken...

You have no idea how injured you are until the adrenalin is gone. 2 hours minimum, and than the pain hits.

Tie, exactly; I urge you to make that report! That is part of the concussion. I hit my head at work & I said I was ok because at the time I thought I was. It's been 3 months and that is part of my lingering issue. The doctor said it can take a week, a month, 6 months, a year or more. I have been waiting to return to work over a little head bump/concussion.

If you have any prolonged dizziness along with it, you could have knocked things around in your inner ear.

It may be frustrating but time, rest and patience will heal you.

Hope you heal up fast
