But a lot of them seem to loose it when their bike bottoms out at the top of the ramp. Anyway I am going to keep Al's technique in mind in case I ever feel foolish enough to try it.

I tie my ramps down with a ratchet strap from the ramp to the underside of the bumper anytime I'm loading rolling stock,running or not.

My truck is a pain, gotta look for a shallow ditch to lower the back end to keep 'em from bottoming out
