Advice on Hagon Shocks
04/14/13 at 10:56:00

Was gonna go cheap and muck about with trying to use Harley shocks but I've been riding 2 up a lot lately and have decided to bite the bullet and go for a set of Hagons.
I want to raise the back end a bit and have a general upgrade so which shocks should I be looking at - the Hagon shocks for the VS800? or the VS750? VS650?
2 up we weigh 295 pounds.

Here are the Hagon options I'm looking at, some available at pretty decent prices on my side of the pond:

Some of them say 320mm eye to eye which is 12.8" - isn't this a bit high for the savage? Had advice in other thread about not going over 12.5.

Will be taking off the belt guard in the process so clearance with this is not an issue. There is also the engine bolt clearance? - anyone remember off hand what size it is?

My first shock swap  Cool
Help much appreciated - don't wanna order the wrong thing.
