If my bike ever does one of those handlebar jiggly things.......I believe I would have to pull over and start walking home as soon as I could get pulled over and on the kick stand!

Being a road racer, I cannot fathom being able to wrap my head around a 38 mile course. Tracks I've raced at:
Road America
BlackHawk Farms
Putnam park
Grattan
Gingerman
Brainerd
MidAmerica
Gateway
VIR
Carolina Motorsports Park
Jennings
Talledega
Roebling Road
Daytona
Barber
USA International Raceway

& oddly, I can see doing essentially a lap of all of those linked together, but not with stone walls, curbs, buildings, poles, fences, gates, & dirt mounds everywhere. The speeds attained there are insane. 200mph on the 1000's.
me & 2 friends are going next year. I'm trying to get Cal Crutchlow to let us stay at his place! Lol

No......really.......I am!  Wink

I'd love to. I'd prefer my 250 vintage racer for it though, but, since it is a couple years out from being back together...

Speed wobble on a Savage? Did you hit a slick patch or something? They aren't referred to as "Slow Pokies" for nothing ya know...

Lisa won't let me go, she knows it would be nearly impossible to drag me (kicking and screaming the whole way) back to the States...  Wink

There is a really good book titled "Riding Man" by a guy named Mark Gardiner about the IOM TT. He's a weekend road racer who quit his job, and used up his savings chasing his dream to ride that race. Manages to qualify - not an easy thing to do by itself - and races in two classes on a Honda CBR600. Even though he finished pretty much at the back of the pack in his races, the book gives some real insight into what it's like to race over there. I highly reccomend it.

Got my copy from Amazon for my Kindle, but I think there is a print edition available too.

I did 168 at 'dega... Dale Jarett Experience. Pretty fun, though I dont think I want to go that fast on two wheels... and definately not when wobble sets in.  I wouldn't mind watching though.

Wow! Great movie. Thanks Sero..

Wish I could read whatever language the subtitles are in though. I could only understand about half of what Martin said. Thats quite the accent! I always thought I spoke english Smiley
