Thanks for all the replies. I guess I'm just going to try to take out the battery and take it to the garage that I usually keep my bike in. Hopefully they'll have a charger I can use.

Make sure the charger can be set to charge at 1-2 AMPS. A lot of chargers made for cars can't be set that low. A typical 20 AMP car charger will ruin your battery if you leave it on for very long. They're OK for jump starting a bike but not for rcharging a dead or almost dead motorcycle battery.

I was able to disconnect the battery this morning and took it to the garage I keep my bike in. Set it up to charge.

Can somebody tell me what these tubes are though? What I should be doing with them or where I should be connecting them to something? These are taken from the left side of the bike (if you were sitting on it).

THANK! YOUS!!

Really depends on what the other end is hooked to   Huh

They might be the carb vent tubes and therefore shouldn't be hooked to anything.

But they should be tucked up into the frame above the carb.

Ah. Excellent. I didn't think that I unhooked them from anything, but am still quite ignorant as to all the parts and how everything works.  Thank you very much! (I will look to see what they're attached to  Cheesy )
