As the only creature that requires clothing, I have to wonder, how was it we "Evolved" into such a state? Isnt the idea of evolution to evolve & be more able to survive? How was it that the one that lost its hair &developed a need for clothing in an advantageous position to survive? Seems like an added burden to me. Its costly in time & materials to wear clothes,

Where they have less than everywhere else, they still have plenty.

& no one ever wants to explain how we "evolved" our hair patterns,
IIRC, evolution is supposed to be from natural selection, where the best survivors mate & their more evolved survival abilities/traits are passed on.
How would being less hairy & needing clothes ever be a "Leg Up" on the competition? Dont make sense to me,

Needing clothing isnt advantageous.
