N ° 33 Project Bike

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvXjALsx4eo&NR=1

Hello all. First post noob here. I just joined the club with an '86 and am looking at build ideas. I like this bike but all I can find about it is in German and Google Translate is no help. I'd like to find some pics.

So, sprecken sie deutsch?

Have you tried to just look up German Suzuki Savage and hit image? That's the only country where they are true cult status bikes... The old forum was out of Germany, but it has been gone for about a decade now. Which is too bad, if we could have snagged the photo archive from Bert before the site disappeared your mind would have been blown, big time.

Guessing the tank is a modified Sport-Bob or Quick-Bob. Generic rear fender with saddlebag hard mount. Generic solo seat.

My German language skills have degraded to atrocious and then some... Angry

Im forced to go with words I rarely use.

Stunning is first to come to mind.
The choice of a wide front tire really carries the rest of the mods.
The paint looks deep enough to go swimming in & thats in the Pictures. I cant imagine what its like in person.
Tastefully done, the exhaust in minimal, not an artistic expression.
I cant praise every aspect that impressed me, I dont want to type all day.,\

Finished is... wow, just, wow.

Makes me want to take the front end loader to the barn, pick mine up via the log grapple and set it in the burn pile/target back stop...

That orange German bike done 1920s style just made everything else seem kind of a waste. Of time, money and raw materials. Talk about going back to the roots of 4 stroke single cylinder bikes...
