Inner surface of Front Foot Peg
02/17/13 at 19:08:46
I just removed my front footpeg so I could get a handle on exactly what shape I need for a replacement front footpeg. The below picture is from the side (and slightly below in order to see the bottom surface) of the Left (kickstand) peg.
This demonstrates to me ***and please correct me if I'm wrong***
The 'spring' and bottom 'flat stop' of the peg, do not act so much to stop the peg from moving down, but work in tandem to push the peg up a bit adding cusion.
Any standard peg will pretty much work with modification of the hole, or allen screw; and a couple washers in place of the spring.
