I would love to ask an astrophysicist, but I only have the Café to ask, you brace up guys, here's the Nobel-prize winning question :
Meteorites are... rocks, whth this and that frozen inside them.
In August we are all out there with our noses in the air to see "shooting starts" and "falling stars" as earth whizzes through an area thick with small meteors.
All we see at night are ... shooting stars, i.e. burning pindots with a trail of sparks.
During the day the larger ones should still be visible, and sometimes the careful observer
(schoolage children and their granddads, as everybody else is at work)
will see a streak of yellow/orange in the blue sky.
NOW, WHAT DID WE SEE ? STEAM ? VAPORS ? TONS OF VAPORS ?
Sorry, folks, it doesn't add up.
I don't believe the "American weapon" thing, simply because American weapons can't fly that high.
Virgin Spaceliners can... chinese ricers will... Australian corco'wrestlers might, given the proper fuel
But frankly, given Pres. Putin's furious reaction
"With all the high technology we have, why didn't you see it coming ahead of time?"
means to me... it could have been spotted ahead of time.
Now, we're talking of a rock the size of a schoolbus, with ZERO radio emissions, so radar etc cannot track it.
So, what could be tracked the size of a schoolbus? Anything with radio emissions, be it a satellite gone haywire
(and we KNOW where they ALL are, from the very first one including all those switched off) or... be it...
Houston, YOU have a problem...
