Savage pioneer passes
02/13/13 at 09:53:59

Anyone who has used the tech section & read Hutch's account of ditching the belt & swapping it to a chain can no longer thank him personally. He passed away at his home last year. I was gonna call him & his phone went straight to Voice Mail, so, knowing his general health, I just searched his name. Barry Hutchinson is no longer with us. Smart, good guy. A rider & lover of motorcycles for decades, gone at 61.

Embarrassed I went to see my Savage at the Dealership workshop tonight...

...they were tihgtening the last few bolts and congratulating me with what a fine idea the chain conversion was, looks real businesslike  Cool

Embarrassed Lips Sealed Undecided

Ride well, Hutch ... I owe you ...
