can someone confirm that the two screws on the ring of the headlight are to remove it to change the bulb and the two at "4 and 7" on the bucket are to aim it?  It's just remove the lens and pull the bulb right?

this is the first bike I've had that didn't have a sealed headlight

Wait...
Remove screws at 7 and 4,... on the bucket... then turn the ring 10 degrees, to release the tongue at 12 o'clock...
Lens and bezel ring will pop out...
Screws on the bezel, are for aiming...

(going from memory here,.. but, pretty sure that's right)...

Serowbot's directions are right on the mark. See the attached illustration from the owner's manual.
