Ryca Build - Day 1 - Fork Lowering
12/16/12 at 13:56:12

I'm pleased to report success with the fork lowering mod! Between the build guide and video I had no problems removing the front wheel and forks, adding the spaces then re-installing.

Made some of the frame cuts yesterday. I'll probably tinker all week then tackle re-installing the swingarm and rear tire next weekend.

I don't expect the whole project to go this smoothly, but a successful first "serious" day of work is a nice confidence booster!  Smiley

Congrats!!  Getting started on making the changes, the cuts, etc., is a really big first step.

Good going Holly! To quote an old R&R song from my era(Cat Stevens/Rod Stewart) "The first cut is the deepest" and the hardest one to make. Getting into it and tearing things down is easy but I have to work myself up to take that first step. You're well on your way! Enjoy!
