Unfortunately violence and blowing slights out of proportion are part and parcel of "modern" society. Why? I haven't the foggiest idea. Morning here started off with 2 police officers being shot in Memphis, one of whom died within an hour, leaving 4 little kids behind.

Pretty typical day for where I live (<40 miles from one of the 6 most dangerous cities in the USA).

Horrifying, deplorable, detestable... take your pick, none are strong enough for his actions or for the coming feeding frenzy in the media.

My heart, prayers and love goes out to all the families involved.
I have shed many tears and hope that all the young children that were witnesses to this horrific act of violence, find the love and comfort that will help them as they go on with their lives.
I can't begin to imagine the pain that all these families are going through.
