Just click the Browse button below all the smileys when you reply and browse to the file on your computer, choose it, click Open, then click on the Post button. Do not preview as it removes the attachment.

woohoo that will teach me to preview........Thanks guys.

Glad you figured it out.  Cumbersome procedure, eh?

Now, the gentlemanly thing for you to do is to go back and delete the last few posts that don't contibute anything,... the ones where you were trying to post the pic and couldn't.

Got a KN RC-1250 and it seems to Fit nice and easy.

Of course I have opened the airbox, but I have also the stock one, so might see if this fits also that without mods.

This is how it looks like.

Hi again my project is on-going. Now I fitted Lifepo4 battery and all electronics in airbox. Tilted left side cover and relocated also rectifier in airbox.

Only question is does the rectifier need to touch "ground" ?

No it doesn't.

However, connection to another piece of metal may provide additional cooling.  In some cases, charging problems will show up as an over heated rectifier.

Some have said it should be isolated.  This is due to an internal short on their particular unit.

OK thanks. Fitting side cover was a little tight but made it. Now its looking quite lean.

Perajani, that looks great. I was looking for something similar to do. I wanted to keep the side covers and hide everything but also was looking to modify the air filter. Have you noticed a major difference at all.... Good or bad in switching to the cone filter and removing the airbox?

Thanks

OK snow has melted and testrun is done. I have to say that Raptor + cone changed the whole thing. Previously so mild engine has lots of more torgue. So I think it was not getting enough juice.

Like the new open look with the LiFePo battery too.

Still some mild back-firing, I try to tune it during the season.

Who is successfully running the 2340?  It's 2.125" flange seems like it would be too small. I like the overall size better than the 1250 though.

Does anyone know offhand what the throttle body diameter is? I'm looking to go with a cone filter as well, but can't get a good measurement. I've found the Emgo filters in several different sizes (from 42mm-52mm I believe). I'll be tearing down later this year for upgrades, but I'd like to have all the parts I need on hand.

57mm.  I bought the K&N with a 54mm inlet and it fits but I had to get a different clamp.
