Don't worry about running a single-cable. We don't run anywhere near the steady flow-rate of a multi-cylinder engine so you won't have to worry about the slide sticking from vacuum. A single cable will be just fine. Also - the return spring on the TM is VERY strong and I know this because mine just showed up in the mail. A multi-cylinder engine running multiple carbs off of a single linkage is when that problem will definitely occur.
