It'll cost you hundreds to ship...
You need local...  Where are you?... Huh...

DO you really need a rebuild?... or just the oil plug and new tensioner?..

How many miles on the motor?..

I'm in Baltimore md.   Odometer reads 23k it's a 87 so prob right!  Do I need a rebuild no prob not but would like it ! Not sure of weight of motor but I'm thinking not over 80lbs so I could ups an I have a real good discount so depending on price for the work it may be feasible

Usually youre better off replacing one. Sounds to me like yours needs some attention, not rebuilt. If it runs okay, but leaks oil, fix the leak & ride it. If its time for a cam chain or Vetslavy, do that, but if it Runs Okay, thats not a sign it needs a rebuild, unless youre just wanting to spend some cubic money. If the goal is a bigger bore & hotter cam & all that, then get yours fixed up, then scout out a used engine & work on it, once its all set up, swap, you get to ride while youre fixin up a motor, then, sell your old one,

I just rebuilt my motor.....and I estimate that just the basic stuff like gaskets, oil seals, valve seals, rings, and the crank and counter balance shaft bearings set me back about $ 400.  The gasket set alone was over $ 100!  This did not include any valve or valve guide work, cam chain, cam chain guides,etc.....and you may need those.  If you are doing the work yourself, it can still be expensive.

If you just want a good running stock motor......then you are probably better off buying a good low mileage used engine.  If you want to hop things up and spend more money......then maybe having yours rebuilt makes some sense as the cam and lifters will be welded and reground, the cylinder will be bored and a Wiseco or similar piston installed.  Speed costs money.....especiallly if you can't do the work yourself.

If you do want a good running stock motor and buy a used one - you can probably get back money by selling off your used parts.  Cylinder heads, cams and rockers are often needed by those who have had oiling problems.

I just wanted my stock motor running perfect with no oil leaks or anything ! Don't need more speed just a good running bike . I actually found a motor today a used one and I'm gonna work to get it perfect then swap em when ready. I'm not gonna be riding all winter so by spring should be good to go. If anyone is interested in my motor let me know . Complete minus carb! Had it out today after finally getting new tire on rear and she ran good
