I have a back injury, that would put me on the ground after 2 hours...
Many people have have prostate trouble,.. arthritis,.. gout,... heart trouble,..
... and people waited... for 3 to 7 hours to vote...
How many, just couldn't?.. we'll never know... both Rep's and Dem's...
Voting,.. shouldn't be a marathon...
We embarrass ourselves before the world... and it's being done on purpose...
Our elections need UN supervision...

.. and still,.. Obama won...  that is dedication,.. that is patriotism...

1/3rd of the electorate... 1/6th of the population,.. embarrasses this nation in the eyes of the world... (I hope the world knows that this isn't America,.. but just a retarded fraction)...

I voted 3 weeks before election day... as did my invalid, 77 year old, mother,.. by mail... postage paid...

Voting is a right... for all adult citizens... it should not be a test of endurance...
People have disabilities, obligations, children, jobs, lives...  
I'm amazed at the dedication and turn-out...
I'm amazed that the right man won... in spite of all the obstacles that they had to overcome...
America is in a shameful mess... but the American people have shown their metal...
If I had not had the option of voting by mail,... I would have done everything in my power to get myself and my mother to the booth...
This election was important...

.. but it shouldn't be that way...
An election,.. shouldn't look like Katrina...
And all these travesties happened in Republican controlled, swing states...
I hope they are made to pay,... next election...

Votes should be encouraged, counted, and respected...

100's of millions of corporate and private billionaire money tried to sway this election... and the owned politicians did every trick in the book (heck,.. they re-wrote the book)...
... and they got nothing...
They lost every swing state, except for one...
They lost every contested senate state and congressional state that they soaked with cash...

.. and they lost the presidency...
Corporate and billionaire money went 40 to 1, for Republicans,... and they lost,... massively...
Those 100's of millions won't hurt them,.. any more that few percetages increase in taxes would... they will live exactly the same. invest the same, create jobs the same...  it's as if you bought a dozen eggs, and dropped them in the parking lot...
It's like, trickle down, finally happened... and it trickled down on us in the form of negative ads and long voting lines...

I watched the news reports of the long voting lines in some places with amazement. I live in the suburbs of a medium sized city in Western New York and I've been voting here since the late 1970's. I've never had to stand in line for more than 20 minutes to vote in any election in all that time.

Now, New York as a whole, has one of the most dysfunctional governments in the country,and even here they seem to have this voting buisness figured out. There are rarely any reports of problems with the voting process itself. Even in the areas that got whacked by Sandy things were pretty orderly.

Almost makes me think that some places are making it harder than it needs to be on purpose.

I early voted and was in-out in 50 min @ 2-3pm on a week day.
My wife did 1-2pm sunday and also 50 mins.

The long lines ... they favor dead people, who as we all know can stand in line forever ... that explains most of the Votes Mitt RMoney got.
Y'know apparently they Identify with him cos he just looks like he's cold and expressionless ... just like Dob Bole.

45 minutes here at two o' clock in the afternoon. One polling place in the entire county.

I can hold my pee for a LOOOONG time, once its in a jar,

I want paper ballots back. & EYEBALL counters, with anyone who wants to watch, watching. There should be nothing about our elections that isnt 100% open to the public.
If a group wanted to verify the official count, they should be allowed to sit down & count the votes themselves,
