Help finding front foot pegs for my 96 savage

I went to LYCA's site, but didn't see any that looked like it would be an easy install. A part number might help me see what you guys are seeing. I'm not a mechanic or welder and I want the foot pegs to look nice, too. Oh yeah. I'd like them to be inexpensive. Am I asking too much? Where did you get yours from? Do you have a part number and price? Were they easy to install?

Your help is appreciated. I've been to a bunch of sites, but I have yet to find a foot peg that's inexpensive, looks nice, and is a direct fit.

You problably have to email them and let them know what you want.
They're cheap enough to get an extra set... you know... in case.

Jimbo you want "easy"? To quote Tina Turner in the song "Proud Mary/Rollin on the River" around here" we don't do nothin' nice and easy" Grin

But for some trick pegs, visit a HD shop or custom shop and dig through their "take-offs" pile. Some of the Sportster pegs adapt to our scoots with just a little modification.  Adapting Sporty pegs (or shocks)ain't rocket science.  Jump in and play a little....and impress your friends with your customizing abilities!

I went to my local HD custom shop and bought some take-offs for $10 a pair. All I needed to do was drill the hole a little bigger. I used a regular hand held drill. It worked well.

Same here too Greg, I ordered some sportster pegs and drilled them by hand without issue.  The rears slid right in no problem with washers to stop the wiggle, the front's I'm making a block for the back so they still have back play but not down/forward play.  Wink
