Paint that rear fender black and you're good.
I dont see the point in painting a bunch of sheite. Shiny black is always beautiful.
Cool.

British Racing Green would get my vote.

Can you tell me a little about the BCB muffler? Was it a bolt on? Leaks? How loud?

Thanks

There are pictures of a black and orange one out on the net...really good looking bike.

I was thinking of powder coating the wheels. Does anyone know if you can powder coat spoke wheels without taking them all apart?

I think the BCB muffler sounds great. Easy installation. It does just slide on so when I did mine I used the metallic muffler repair material at the joint and I have no leaks.

I am pretty sure you can ... this is how I would ...
Remove the tire and tube etc, and the bearings and so on and if you're a purist I would mask off the bearing region and the bead seating area.
You may get into some trouble if in the future you broke a spoke and had to replace it ... but not any more than if you broke a spoke when you powderocat it apart and re lace it ... oooo get a few extra spokes and coat them along with the wheel ... so if you break a spoke in the future you can touch that area of the rim and hub up and use the spoke you coated.
Cool.

When I think of army green I think of matte/flat finishes but when I think of red wheels I think of gloss. That color combo in my head looks pretty terrible but who knows. If you're thinking of gloss army green - that may come off a bit like a poser - but if you're thinking matte green and a satin red...

Actually I like the rootbeer and cream combo. I love (and almost pourchased a 2010 Bonneville in the chocolate and ceam color). Very retro looking. I wish I could get a 140/80-15 in a whitewall to go with the bike.

I have seen some tires painted? Not sure how it holds up under washing and such.

I have developed a vehicle maintenance program that makes that a non-issue. Smiley
