Serves both as the trip-o-meter and as a speedometer. I have it mounted in the middle of my handle bars. much easier to see than the speedometer on the tank. I just fill up every 100 Miles.

Get in the habit of popping the gas cap and checking your gas level when you first get on of a day for one thing along with the tires oil level etc. I use a luggage lock mostly but add the GPS with trip meter for longer trips.

What JOG states might be true ? Has anyone ever experienced(with our bike) a problem by filling the tank close the top ? Now if I interpret JOG's statement in a different way Too much gas(of the non-liquid internal type) - I know that feeling and the risk of leaking on your leg(I know that feeling, as well) Grin

Yeah- It'll take about 2.92 gals. to fill to the neck... is bad to fill that much tho. Expanding of the fuel might cause it to pee on ur leg or worse onto your hot motor ssssssssssssspppooof.

She likes it when I shake she gently before I ride her

just to see if she's ready- either way I usually fill her... at 100 miles
