Even with a Dyna you really should rejet cause the Dyna muff is less restrictive and will cause your bike to run leaner. Some have been able to adjust the stock jets to help but rejetting gives you that added protection.

Reply #5 - 10/18/12 at 20:34:40 I bought my 2007 4500 miles ls650 about a month ago...it came with a jet kit...i am brand new to riding...it has been customized to a bobber...it is now my primary source of transportation...I have alot of questions like the front brakes sqeak... do the pads need to be changed?

That works too! Also JC Whitney has a muffler that mimics the English Dunstall pipes that work well, and are pretty loud without getting you locked up. That's what's on my scoot.

Reply #11 - 10/18/12 at 21:30:43 I would start by drilling your current exhaust if its stock. I drilled 4 1/4 inch holes and then moved up to 3/8 inch. It sounds so much better with the holes and I havent noticed any difference in performance. I have no clue about Jetting but I havent changed mine and from what I can tell is running fine.
