Creation vs. evolution... with a twist....
10/13/12 at 22:55:54

I just heard a stat...
Republicans tend to be born,.. Demo's tend to evolve...

Because of cultural differences,... Rep's tend to marry sooner, and have more children,.. creating more Rep's...
While,.. Dem's tend to use birth control more, marry later, and have fewer marriages, and children...
More children are born Republican.... but, evolve into Democrats...

It's creationism vs. evolution, all over again... Grin...

Just struck me as an interesting parallel...

Were you created, or evolved?... Huh...

I was born a liberal and have evolved about as far left as one can go. Shocked
Hey Sero, I have been in Maine for the last two weeks, glad to be back and jumping back into the fray.  Cheesy

I heard a variation:
Everyone is born young with ideas they are going to change the world. They are democrats. Once they age and realize how cold and bitter the world is and that they would rather make money they become republicans.

I can believe that. My generation, the generation of peace and love, what the hell happened?

I was a die hard republican until W was elected. I voted for him the first time. I 'm not the brightest bulb thats ever been lit but anyone that cant see through the sh!t he pulled, well I dont hate em or dispise em, kinda feel sorry for them. Strarlifter is dead on, W is one of the worst criminals to ever walk the earth. Now there's another criminal lying tax evader just chomping at the bit to take up where W left off. Imagine a known proven tax evader calling me a moocher. Take a good look at a few graveyards and pics of crippled Veterans missing limbs. If Romney gets elected in 90 days we will be at war with Iran and for what. They're no bigger threat than Iraq was. Haliburton, Blackwater and the private US war machines got filthy rich, that was the plan all along. He's calling for a 25% increase in defense spending. Wonder how much of that will go to the military and how much of it will go to Haliburton and the other private war corporations? I'm glad I'm not to old to change my ways and learn.

I heard an interview with this guy: Vincent Bugliosi.
He was asked what new law he wanted to twist in order to bring Bush to trial.
He replied "Murder."

Close enough for me too ... clinton made me a conservative ... Dubya cranked me as far left as I can go.
Sadly I am truly conservative ... I believe in doing the best thing with the least expense ... And for small govt ... except the repug's want to cut the govt assistance for the poorest and want to make it small and turn the hand outs to the rich instead.
Its not Smaller govt, its govt for the rich.

Cool.

I knew when I was 12 that things werent Kosher. I kinda liked all the warm fuzzy, feel goody of the left & taking care of the poor. Only after a few years as an adult did I come to terms with how damaging it is to perpetually support some people & the whole feel of it left me, so, having no option, I concluded, I must be a Bub, since Im not a Dem,, But their platform left me feeling like I didnt belong,, I was feeling a sense of "Not enough freedom",, & I had ideas about how things Should Be, & neither party expressed how I was thinking,, & then, I heard about Ron Paul & the Libertarian concept,, & suddenly, MY ideas had a place.. Freedom, individual responsibility, Not Free from responsibility to help others, but that responsibility comes Back to ME, not the goobs. LOcal help for local people= local supervision. If Im handing someone $50.00 a month, Im gonna KNOW if hes looking for work or not, or drinking himself in a hole. While its all administered By the State out of tax $$$, theres no accountability,,
