JOG,.. RP would take away your disability pension...
Smaller,.. "Constitutional" Gub'ment don't include such handouts...

Huh...

That is the truth, and I can not tell you how many people on disability or medicare/aid etc etc are voting Romney. They are single issue voters ... they want guns ... they want it so bad ... so bad that they dont even see the rest ... abortion, guns gay marriage, religion, who ever billy graham endorses ... never mind that he is very wealthy and may endorse who ever cuts his taxes ...

I thinkg I would make this generalisation ... most single issue voters will be voting for the pugs. Most Obama voters are multi issue.

Ron Paul knows the constitution ... very very well ... that's why he knows what needs to be dumped in the shredder.

Cool.

When was the last military action taken done legally? I cant remember when was the last time Congress actually involved in the war making decision.,That they dont withold funding is a crime,,

No, if you are talking about Libya, we are talking a NATO action, not an act of war.. It was still a better outcome than what we got in Iraq, NO americans lost, is much better than 4K and a trillion in expense..

And if we were not mired in Iraq and afghanisthan wewould have made a good showing in Libya, Syria, yemen, and tunisia. Seriously ... we didn;t even have to provide weapons. All we had to do was drop a few 1000 soldiers protecting a few 100 doctors, nurses and medical personnel. It would have done wonders for our image in that region. The drones, the tactical and logistics support we did provide would have gone a few 1000 times more.
Sad, what a good opportunity has been missed. And no, Obama didn't miss it, Obama was soundly criticized for doing what the did and that in itself was pretty good, and Bushies lying about the WMD etc leading to the war against Iraq/Afghan ...

We should have done 1000 and could have without 2 wars. Could have - not would have - Would = hypothetic, Could is a fact.
Obama did 10 and got soundly criticized for that 10 till it succeeded, then Mitt the flip flop anchor baby criticizes Obama for not doing more.

Congress has unfortueately accepted the recommendations of the sitting Presidents since at least Korea without Declaring War, rather allowing Military actions thru Resolution.  This way they can step around the International Laws concerning the conduct of War (think Land Mines, POW's etc).    The War Powers Act ceeded a great deal of War Making authority to the President based on the premise that a response to a nuclear missle attack could not take weeks to debate, it was a multisecond decision.  That the whole scheme has been abused should not surprise anyone who watches government in action. No, he wouldnt "Take it away",, he knows how things got where they are. He also knows I signed a contract & bore the burden OF that contract & am now due the rewards of it,Its right that I get what the contract says I am to get, under these circumstances,
He WOULD work us away from that system, as he has stated, many times,

While I admire and agree with Ron Paul's anti-war stance, there are hundreds of other reasons Ron Paul is not fit to be POTUS.

His son Rand (named for Ayn 'Rand') is 100% certifiably nuts...and in a vicious and evil way. If a person of this unsavery character was raised by RP, I would no longer trust RP to be a drain commissioner much less POTUS.

If he were elected the haves would be fine, and the have-nots (the 99% of us) would be living in the streets.

Thank God RP is no longer taken seriously. Tongue
