No Web, on the issue of gay marriage everyone is allowed a change of heart, the more people you know the better you understand.. Even Chic-fil-a changed their minds...

And again, Romney said he first wanted to ban abortion, then he said he wouldn't sign any legislation, nor had any planned to do so, then he flipped again and went pro-life.. He has to be dizzyy..  All the flips and flops are a matter of record, they are there for all to see..

By the way you are right on JFK and Johnson building Nam, I shook hands with Nixon in country 69 I believe, his words to me and my gunner were "We gonna get you boys home as soon as possible." One thing about Republicans in those days, they said what they did, and they did what they said, and stood by it.. Of course some of that was crooked also... Grin

hang on a sec... everyone is "allowed" a change of mind on gay marriage because the more gay people you know the more you understand, but you're not allowed to have a change of heart because you've held babies, seen ultra sounds or just simply grew up....???

and i'm not aware chick-fil-a did anything different. did i miss something?

every politician changes positions. its one reason why it's always hard to get them to answer a straight position. I don't think Romney is any different than obama in that regard. But, the point still stands, obama's got no room to talk when it comes to changing positions. besides, he said if he didn't have 'his thing turned around in 2 years, he should be a one term president. He didn't and he's running again; the ultimate flip flop.

yea, it's funny how everyone forgets JFK and Johnson's role in Vietnam and try to pin the whole thing on Nixon.

let's break this rant down; shall we?
your nutty right-wing hero politicians : don't have any. politicians aren't heros.
need to get your nose out of other peoples and other countries business.: if the US wasn't who we were, someone else would step in and then you'd be crying louder than anyone else so thank your lucky stars you are where you are.
war mongering violent person : completely not true.
your daughter is in collage rather serving her country in the middle-east.: yea I know. ain't it great? I didn't go. I'm proud of her; she's doing very well so far. First year is tough but she hit the ground running.
Did you serve?? nope; wish I had, but didn't.
So your ridicules opinions on international affairs doesn't count for sh!t. I think you might be one of those guys whose only accomplisment is the only thing they ever talk about.

It is the heights of ridiculous to say that unless someone has "Served in thu Miluterry" they have no right to an opinion about foreign policy,, talk about RUBBISH,,

& I WILL have an opinion, an opinion based in fact, about any elected oFISHYal or domestic or foreign policy, whether I vote or not. My opinion is just as valid as anyones & I have every bit as much right to whine about the condition of the nation & the World as anyone, evben those who vote,,
That crap is as honest as saying If you dont love it leave it,, Kiss my achin A55..

Someone can change an opinion in three years time, thats not a flip, that is weighing the facts, and being open minded.. What Mitt has done is hardly that, it borders on shiczophrenic..

First he going to ban planned parenthood, make abortion illegal, back Ryans personhood bill, and turn ove Roe Vs Wade.. Now he is all about moderation, abortions allowed for rape and interest, now take in mind this is in a period of six months.... The list is huge, he has turned himself from the radical right, to the moderate liberal, and everyone likes it??? One thing about you staunch Republicans you would rather see a massive idiot/flip flopping/know nothing, than Obama and you'll stick to it no matter what..

Yes Chic-fil-a has changed positions, they have stated they no longer give to organizations that support anti-gay agendas, such as focus on the family, ect... I tried to post a link, but this website accused me of trying to post spam.. Google it..

And The President said "If I cannot turn around this economy in three years, it may be a one term proposition."  In my eyes he has turned it around, now if he can get rid of the obstructionists in congress, and the fillibuster prone senate, he could have this nation back on its feet in no time..

My opinion of our roll in the middle east has two parts, we need to first promote a fuel efficient America, back companys like Solasyme which makes diesel fuel and oil products from algae.. We need to dump ethanol from corn production and move it to Kudsa plant extraction.. These technologys do not require the resources to produce high grade bio-fuels.. Get off our oil teat, start by backing diesel hybirds, capable of 100+ MPG, move our energy use to solar/wind, and geothermal. Make it a requirement on all new home starts to have at least 25%..

Once we do not depend on middle eastern oil we can tell em all their on their own, that includes Israel, they want to live in Ft Stinkin desert, let em.. Or we can move em to New Israel Nevada, we have some fine desert right here... But the days of backing dictators, kissing everyones butt that has oil, is over... Also the days of sending our youth overseas to be slaughtered every ten twenty years would be over.. Every young man and woman will have to serve two years after high school, They will guard our borders, we will then move ICE to imigration only, it works for Switzerland..

Then this nation has to decide that a balance of socialist and capitalist is the best route. Socialize medicine, everybody is covered, everybody pays, from birth to death, and make it a self standing system... Legalize pot, tax it.. And maybe even socialize education through college.. Then lower taxes on corporations that hire here, drop import fees for those countrys that are willing to drop theirs, and re-introduce Glass Stegal to stop the legalized gambling in our markets.. I would rather pay 60% in taxes for a system that will support peace, prosperity, health, and welfare of its people..

Thats my opinion, they are like assholes, everybody has one....

Everybody is allowed to have an opinion, I really don't care if you served or not.. One of the things I served to protect was your freedom to speak out.. As a wiser man once said "I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it.."

Ohh, everyone knows I do Not defend Obama, But, I have seen a video where it was Mitt Vs. Mitt, & it was a few minutes of Mitt, with a Strong POsition,, absolutely UNwavering & perfectly confident, & then, the exact opposite position, over & over. Does he not remember what he said? I cant imagine being able to do that with the apparent strength of conviction he exudes.. its downright frightening, he is a chameleon,
