A $140 repair part from Bike Bandit if the diaphragm has a hole in it (hope yours is just gummy acting and needs for the hole and the slide to be carefully cleaned).

Do you suggest sea foam first before taking on uncharted territory?

I've never purchased Sea Foam but I'm guessing Auto Zone or the like will carry it? Do I follow directions on the Sea Foam or is there a recommend fuel mixing ratio?

Yes, the recommended ratio is on the bottle, doesnt have to be that precise, not a science, Autozone carries it. I throw some in there every once in a while myself.

Thanks Arnold.

I'll try some of these suggestions over the next couple of days and get reply my result.

Fingers crossed it's something simple.

Most likely, fuel delivery not as bad as electrical issue. Let us know what you find.

After new air filter and new petcock I was still having issue with sluggish throttle after 5th gear.

After some good advice from Serowbot I took apart the carb and cleaned it out. So far so good but it's been raining and I couldn't get her past 60MPH safely. Hopefully tomorrow will be a clear day so I can take her out on the road and really open her up and put her through the paces.

Finger crossed again.

After some sound advice from some users and special instructions from Serowbot I cleaned my carb all by myself and on a scale from 1-10 my mechanical skills are about a 3.

Here some video of the whole ordeal:

It's been a couple weeks now and so far so good. Let just see how she holds up.
