Scorpion EXO-750 for $129
09/21/12 at 22:28:00

Pretty good deals on some very good helmets.  I have been wearing an EXO-400 for about 8 years and like it a lot.  It's a polycarbonate shell while the 750 uses fiberglass and kevlar.  The 750 is supposed to be lighter and quieter as well as meeting the latest DOT and ECE specs. From what I've read, it has better circulation than the older models, especially for hot weather.  I understand it has air bladders to allow a more custom fit without need for multiple sets of cheek pads and such too.  I am really considering upgrading.

that's a good deal.

i just got the exo 1000 from SportbikeTrackGear.com .  it's big and kinda heavy and probably a little undersized....but i got 1 size larger and don't mind the weight (c'mon...i'm 270!).  $99 was hard to beat.  but i bet a lot of folks would like the 750 for it's lightness.

Rats!
The GF and I pulled the trigger on the EXO700's two weeks ago.
Looks the same but no air bladder.
Also from sportbiketrackgear.

New lid arrived.  It's definitely lighter than the EXO-400.  The fit is basically the same as the 400 (though my 400 fits a bit looser after using it for eight years).  The air pump lets you adjust the fit a lot more precisely than changing out cheekpads and such.  The shield now has a locking mechanism that the 400 doesn't.  However, if you swap out the side plates, the 400 can use the 750 shield with the locking tab.  I'm pretty sure the 400 shield will fit the 750 but simply wont lock shut.  I haven't tried it yet.  It is supposed to have better ventilation than the 400 and it looks like it should.  I'll know soon enough whether it's a noticeable change, though the silver color of the new 750 might be slightly cooler than the flat black of my 400.

Had to return my large and my extra large.
Pushes on my cheeks way too much and my temples as well.
SPTG doesn't offer a 2xl in gloss black.
