upgrade to SMF?
09/19/12 at 19:11:32

I was trying to find a mobile app for YaBB, so I can more efficiently read/post to suzukisavage.com on the go.

I don't know much about this stuff, but from what I read, YaBB is old tech, and has been lapped by Simple Machines Forum (SMF), which *does* have mobile support.

Has this ever come up?

It would be pretty nice to have a decent search function, one that actually lets you specify which user's posts you want to search. It's so hard to find stuff on here even when you know exactly what you're looking for.

It's not the easiest search tool, but it does do that

search
there's a check box for selecting yourself or select from members list.
drop down menu select either posts or threads you've created
important, select the time period you want to search

it would be nice if all your selections would remain till the next time.

The cursor just blinks in the entry box, I can't enter any text. If you can, please take screen-shots of it.

A trick i use on forums is to bypass the site search tool and use google.
You will see this site on a bunch of your search results.

It would be nice to be able to access the forums via tappatalk, this is the only one I use that I have to use a browser on.

I would love for this forum to be more mobile accessible. notifications when someone post on your topic would be a game changer.

When you post to a topic there is a box to check if you want to be notified of replies to this topic.  Under the box you type in, under the smiley faces, under the attach space, there it is.  Wink
