Is the 7 degree bend very critical?

I am using an Emgo Dunstall long reverse cone muffler 80-84051.

Who knows? But Since you already have it, it can either be put on, or not.


Should I use the heatshield anyways?


If its gonna keep heat off of your shoe or whatever & you want it,, uh huhh.
If I have an exhaust shop make me something will the heatshield cover it up good enough, and exactly what should I ask for if I go to the exhaust shop?
Take the new exhaust & ride in & show them what youre doing,


I have 2007 S40. From what I understand if I remove the stock expander adapter it is the same size as the Emgo mufflers. Is this correct?

If the Ryca adapter + Ryca mount = bolt on plug and play no thinking results I am just going to order this stuff tonight so it is here on my next day off.

When you put it on which way does the bend go? is it straight out, or out and down?
