How long is your recovery period?  Any idea on how long before you start riding again?

I might suggest you find someone you trust to go ride your bike occasionally......or you take steps to winterize your bike early.  Change oil, take out battery, drain all fuel.....or at a minimum put stabillizer in the tank and drain the float bowl, air up the tires and get them off the ground, spray some fogging oil into the cylinder.  Just starting the bike occasionally may not be the best way to keep it in good order.......it may be better to carefully get it ready for storage.
