Thanks Bill. I will teach him. The problem is he is afraid of it already, as he burned his hand on the hot exhaust last year. I don't want him to be afraid, I want him to learn that riding is fun.

I donmt need to know, really. YOu do. YOu could strap a board to the pegs. Get some hose clamps, cut in two, dry wall screws to hold them on the board, clamp to peg. If theyre tall, stabilize to the bike so they dont rotate under his feet.
