http://suzuki-s40-ratbrat.weebly.com/index.html

It's been a while and I  added 3 or 4 pages to my web site...I thought I would just wait and post a final when I was finished...however, I am slow and it is taking me a while to finish her up...getting close...So here is an update...  I know I hate following a post that seems to never get updated or finished.

Bike looks good, well done.  I did something similar with my tail light and welded the bracket to the rear hoop.  Lasted two weeks before I felt something hitting my ankle at 80mph on the freeway!  The vibration was too much.  You might think about making the attachment of that bracket span the tail hoop versus the smaller area shown in your pic.

This is almost exactly what I would like to do with mine... I'm going to have to learn a lot, buy a lot, and get some more space before I can get there though.  Grin
