A coupla 1/2" WIDE, BROWN LEATHER STRAPS would look nice on that green thing,

Get some lite metal, bend it to fit, overlap & rivet the end.

Im unable to get excited about a peanut tank on anything,,I think it looks real good as is.

that area tends to get some oil blown on it from time to time.

just something to be aware of.

like it otherwise.

Smiley All the better I liked the weathered used look that's why I chose an old used magazine case versus a new one.

That's what I was thinking as well but I need to get a hold of a friend that has a press that bends metal with perfect angles. I did change out the zip ties last night and went with a stainless steel strap used for holding exhaust wrap. I painted the strap flat black and looks really good for an temporary solution.

I would think the leather would expand or stretch just enough to let the pouch fall out. I'd keep the zip tie, maybe add a second zip tie, and put a leather strap (like an old belt or something - maybe make a 10 dollar investment at Walmart or petsmart?) over the zip tie.

You nailed distressed with the pouch, but still too glossy overall. (I like shine though, it's your bike)

Looking good E.M.C.  I really like the ammo case, and the gum grips look better then the white ones in my opinion  Wink
