Strange Sound

I'm a brand new rider with a brand new 2012 S40 and limited mechanical skills. I keep hearing this metallic tinkling/jingling sound coming from the left side when I hit about 30 mph, again at 40 mph and again at 50 mph. Is this normal? I took it to a local shop and they told me not to worry about it but it just sounds so odd to me. At first I thought it was my keys hitting the shock but I took all of them off and still hear it. Any ideas? Thanks.

Get on a smooth road & lay a hand on the chrome decoration on the head & see if that damps the racket, I wear gloves, if you dont,, dont scorch yer grippers,,

Mine sing at certain RPM's. Took me awhile to figure out what it was until I grabbed one of them and compressed it down like a spring and the sound diminished on each one I did that to. R.F.
