Tailpipe mock up

Still trying to figure it all out. This is where I'm at so far. I plan on wrapping the header in black and paint the tailpipe black. The muffler will be shot in red. I figure a 7" chrome heat shield at each end of the muffler to hide the ugly and a chrome fishtail tip. I welcome all thoughts, tips, and suggestions.

Not a fan of up swept exhaust? I thought of that. But so did everyone else. This is pretty unique in my area. I still don't know though...

I'm not a big fan of the look myself, but I understand not wanting the same thing everyone else has. Well done, I'd like to see it finished.

I think it's only really going to look right with the fishtail on it; that's the look you're going for.
I would just be sure al of the weight gets supported hanging out there...

I don't know that he needs a fishtail (I personally hate them), but I would say he needs to "finish" that pipe...
Like this one?
Or this?
Maybe this one?
Something?

I totally get the "I dont want mine lookin like everyone elses" thing, but there just may be a reason or 2 that exhausts have been generally left down low.

I like my exhausts down low so I can have passengers on without them burning their legs.

I appreciate the input guys. I am still undecided. Yes, it needs painted and a tip. Support is my concern. I was thinking of a bracket from the plate mount to the tail pipe. The fender does move in unison with the engine, correct?
