I saw a Dear Heloise column when I was a kid & it really stuck with me,
Writer asks for advice on going to college. Starts with

" I am 36 years old, I am thinking I mite go to college, but in 4 years, Ill be 40 years old!

& You, you would have $3,000.00 in the bank you dont have. Where Should you have spent it? You worked & took care of obligations, right?
Do what you wanna do, man.. One thing I know you dont wanna do is get too old to do it & then wish ya had. I regret not having gone snow skiing when I was in my 20's.. Now, legs are shot, health is shot, a fall on the kiddy trail would hurt me,,

You spend a large part of your life trying to make a 'Living'.
Problem is most folks forget the key word. LIVE!
The fun, adventure and peace of mind when riding is worth the minimal cost of the bike to me.
Mudding in a jeep, sailing, painting, Hunting ect all costs money.
Riding serves multiple purposes at a minimal cost.

Now if could just get the cost down on a nice S50, Shadow Spirit 1100 or Maybe a 650R or 1200 Bandit, id be happy. And have a couple more 'cheap' bikes in the stable...lol
