must be talking about the head plug leak.
in the cavity on the left side of the header.
there's a head nut that needs to be torque every so often.
access is under the head cover thru a rubber plug.
apply a little rtv to the plug before it's installed and you won't have a leak.

So oil would be present where? I just looked at the bike and I see oil Leaking from the back rear left corner dribbling on to the starter. May be a easy fix if its that plug then I guess.

When my plug leaked, theoil would run down and across the engine and on to the back above the starter. Guess because the was it leans when it's on the stand.

Well I went ahead and bought it. I noticed he had it plum full of oil. The sight glass when stood straight up was filled above the sight glass. I wiped down where the oil was and drove it home. After I got it home I I drained some oil off and wiped down the oil again. I putted around town a bit on it and there dont seem to be as much oil present??? But if need be I will chase down the leak and correct it. It also had a problem with the turn signals. New bulbs and that was was fixed. I tookits seat and put it on my 97 that was ripped. I think I did great for the price. Wink
