Thats true,, it can be quick,, or not so quick, Have you got a place set up to lay the tank? Have ytou got a place to lay out the parts as they come off? All these little things add time to a job, better to be slow & move carefully, plan ahead,,getting done quick isnt as important as not needing to do it again,or not having a dent somewhere after its done that wasnt there before, wade off in it,, take your time,

Got the sealer on hand?

I think you will want to install the plug with the RTV sealant and let it set up for an hour with something holding the plug firmly in place. I used an Allen wrench wedged between the upper frame member and the center of the plug. If you don't, the plug has a tendency not to seal properly and you'll be doing it again too soon.

Don't forget to preinstall the bolt on top before trying to put the cover on or it wont clear the frame. There is a bolt that is upside down that must be in first also (front left).

it was the only way to get the bolt away from the frame enough to get out of the head. How on earth did someone else do this plug in under an hour??? thanks for the reply
