People who participated in a Tony Robbins motivational event said they were warned that walking on hot coals could be dangerous.
San Jose firefighters treated 21 people for burns when they walked across hot coals at the  motivational speaker's even Thursday. Some of those suffering second- and third-degree burns.

Participant Sahar Madani told Channel 2 KTVU that they were told walking on the coal could be dangerous but they needed to shift their mental focus. “Get your focus and attention away from that and look into the power within yourself and just focus on walking through the fire,” Madani told the station.

Julia Wilson, another participant told the station: “He tells us to say, 'Cool moss, cool moss, cool moss,' and not look down and it’s amazing what your mind can do when you get it in the right state."

Organizers said the hot coals were between 1,200 and 2,000 degrees.

....and people paid good money to do this????

Nope,not us. Tea Party voters are the ones with enough smarts to actually think for ourselves rather than follow the drivel tossed out by the mainline power brokers.

No not really. I'm sure many people in the Tea Party (like ZAR and JOG) are very decent people, hard-working, and honest. However, I believe supporters of the TP movement have been hit by a force from a place which they can't fully understand. They are being misled. And they are misled by people who are using them for their selfish purposes, namely to remove regulations and reduce taxation on corporate America.

To achieve these ends they are exploiting individual Americans' anger over economic troubles to promote a big business political agenda. They have convinced these concerned citizens to mistakenly vote against their own interests in the mistaken belief that they are helping America put it's fiscal house in order and shrinking government. They are accomplishing neither.
