Air box removal
07/04/12 at 06:10:30

Ok, so my k&n rc-1250 cone filter finally came in and I removed the air box and got the filter installed. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do with the vent hose that used to go to the air box and the top of the engine at the valve cover?  I notice it's pushing air out and right now it's just hanging out just behind the battery box. Just curious what kind of awesome ideas you guys might have.

That's your crankcase breather... it's job is to let the piston come down, and to occasionally puke oil...
It needs to breathe, so don't plug it...
Small breather filters are available... like Thumper says...

Yes, you have to remove the bat box, pull the air box, then replace the bat box.

10mm. As long as you use a clamp, a 3/8" will work or you could jam a 1/2" in there.
