Not sure if this means anything......but on my Trials Motorcycle they do everything they can to save weight. One side of the forks has the spring in it......the other side has the dampening rod in it. Seems to work just fine.

I think the Ryca bike would be incredible if they offered that tank with an installation kit instead of the cut up stock one. I know they sell fiberglass versions of that Benelli for $300 to $400 or so. You would still save money over the $700 stock tank mod. Your bike is going to look awesome.
