Intriguing front end geometry, and a well thought out machine for its time.

That's an Earles front end,... my buddy just picked up an old BMW 69S with the same thing...
I can't wait to try it... won't crash, I promise... Huh...

I hear those front ends eat the bushings or bearings at the knee in the front end.

The originals had brass bushings, and they did wear and get loose.  I have always thought that an Earles fork with sealed tapered roller bearings would be the bees knees.  You could go over a curb with those forks and not even feel it.

Nice, I'd ride it. Especially since it DOESN'T have a god awful BMW style shaft drive... Look a LOT like the 1951 BMW I made the mistake of buying in college.

I would love to take that old girl for a ride.  I bet that 2 link front suspension with a roller bearing mod would ride like butter.
