Change the oil before you even turn the poor thing over.
Ohh, & drain the bowl on the carb, then pull it & look at the jets, wipe the crud out of the bowl, youll save yourself some trouble,,

Trike it.

We've seen bobbers, choppers, cafe racers, touring versions, scramblers...

If I had two S40s, some cash for parts and some time to work on them, I will have a home made bobber and a home made trike.

But that's me!

Well after thinking long and hard about my problem I have decided to go with the cafe racer. I am not doing the RYCA kit, however. I am going to skip the RYCA kit because it is no longer unique, not to say its still not cool as hell and not to say I wouldn't build one if I had the money, but I don't have the money so a custom bike it will be.

The RYCAs are becoming pretty popular and I am almost certain I can build something comparable for a fraction of the cost. I do plan on using some of their parts such as the rear sets, tach and speedo, decomp mech., and clip ons. The rest will be salvage yard parts and fabricated.

I thought about the trike, but I have never really had a desire to own one, and the savage is just too much fun to make lame, there I said it.

If I was forced to ride a trike, Id rather have a Miata,or any old sports car with a standard trans,,If it wont lean in a corner, mite as well be in a car.,

No way!!! this thing is getting a full on face lift, there is no greater joy than opening a box of brand new motorcycle parts to put on your latest project. Like christmas all year long.

Yeah I am going to have to agree, a little miata in the mountains sounds like a blast. Ask Mick he seems to love his.

Speaking of Mick anyone seen or heard from him in a while?
